How It Began
About
Fire of God Community Outreach Centre was founded in 2018 with a mission to serve those in need. What started with just 150 baskets of food distributed to nearby communities has grown into a vital support system for people across Ottawa. Through our special events, such as our annual Christmas toy drive and back-to-school initiatives, we ensure that children and families receive the care and resources they need. As a faith-driven, non-government-funded organization, we are committed to doing the Lord’s work by spreading kindness, hope, and support to those who need it most. At Fire of God Community Outreach Centre, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back.
Mission
Our mission is to provide essential food to those in need, serving our community with dignity and respect. Through this program, we aim to meet the physical needs of our neighbors and make a positive impact in their lives.
Vision
Our vision is to create a community where everyone has access to the food they need, providing nourishment and a sense of care and connection for all who come through our doors.
